SEO TECHNICAL AUDIT

An SEO audit that tells you exactly what to fix, and in what order.

No 120-page PDF full of automated warnings you’ll never action. My SEO audit gives you a clear, prioritised plan: what’s wrong, why it matters, and what to do first for the biggest return.

What is an SEO audit?

An SEO audit is a thorough health check of your website: a structured review of everything that affects whether, and how well, you rank in search. It looks at technical foundations, on-page content, site structure, and the signals that build authority, then pulls the findings into a single clear picture of what’s helping you, what’s hurting you, and where the biggest opportunities are.

The problem with most audits is that they’re generated by a tool and dumped on you as hundreds of undifferentiated issues, with no sense of which ones actually matter. Mine is the opposite. Yes, I use the best crawling and analysis tools, but the value is in the human judgment on top: knowing which issues move rankings, which are noise, and what sequence of fixes gets you results fastest.

Who needs an SEO audit?

An audit is the right first step if you recognise yourself in any of these:

What my SEO audit covers

Every audit is tailored to your site, but a full review typically covers four areas.

1. Technical health

Crawlability, indexing, site architecture, redirects, canonicalisation, XML sitemaps, robots directives, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, HTTPS, and structured data. This is where the biggest hidden ceilings usually live.

2. On-page and content

How well your pages target the right keywords, the quality and depth of your content, title and heading structure, internal linking, thin or duplicate pages, cannibalisation between pages competing for the same term, and gaps where you’re missing content your audience is searching for.

3. Off-page and authority

Your backlink profile (its strength, its relevance, and any toxic links dragging you down) plus how you compare to the competitors currently outranking you, so we know what it will realistically take to catch and pass them.

4. Analytics and tracking

Whether your Google Analytics and Search Console are set up correctly, whether you’re measuring what matters, and whether past decisions were based on sound data. If the tracking is wrong, every decision built on it is too.

What you actually get

You don’t get a data dump. You get a prioritised action plan: a ranked list of issues grouped by impact and effort, each explained in plain terms (what it is, why it matters, and exactly what to do about it). High-impact fixes come first, so even if you only action the top of the list, you get most of the benefit. I also walk you through it live, so nothing is lost in translation.

My promise: if the audit finds that your site is largely healthy and doesn’t need much, I’ll tell you that plainly rather than inventing problems to justify a bigger project.

How an SEO audit benefits your business

How the audit works

We start with a short call about your business, goals, and history. I then run the full audit across the areas above, combining tool data with hands-on analysis. Within an agreed timeframe you get your prioritised plan and a live walkthrough. From there, you can implement it yourself, hand it to your team, or have me carry out the fixes, with no obligation either way.
